Vega Club has all the facilities of an authentic INFO-CENTER on Astronomy and related subjects and therefore the name VEGA CLUB is synonymous among students. It has also received wide publicity through print ,voice and visual media.The Times of India dated 24 April 1999 and Mid-day dated 15 May ,1997 had published an article about the club's activities.(Copy available on request) Vega Club is a non-profitable organisation and hence we have kept our membership fee as low as Rs.250 for student members and Rs.300 for others for one full year,excluding travel expenses. Although students are our prime target,any individual (irrespective of age ,sex, and qualifications)with some interest in astronomy can join our club. |

Once you are in we will take you through the Cosmos with a step-by-step tour of our solar system and the universe as a whole,thereby introducing you to the stars and their legends,planets, distant galaxies,super clusters,nebulae,double stars- a list so vast that contains unlimited number of objects in the deep sky, waiting for you to explore through our powerful TELESCOPES! One look at the moon with its craters will be sufficient enough to send a chill through your spine and another look at the Saturn with its ring system and Jupiter with its four moons will leave you gasping for more. All members are provided with basic written materials and regular updates on astronomy ,which become a priceless possessions for our members.
